Pro-E has attempted to mask their never-ending menus with a pretty face lift this go ’round. This makes it hard for old users to adjust, but let’s new users jump right in… at least at first. After awhile you’ll realize how hard it is to memorize all of Pro-E’s menu abbreviations! A textbook is a must, and this one does a decent job.

This book leads you through both 3D part creation and machinist’ drawings. It also teaches the user some of the in-depth features of Pro-E in regards to storing drawing configurations and etc. Book also covers motion/kinematic analysis.

Book actually has a few errors on the spur & helical gear walk-thrus. If you look for them and think it through you can figure it out – or just ask your professor what the correct numbers are.
